
We use the tape-casting process to manufacture thick film substrates for ceramic hybrids. We can deliver as-fired substrates as well as precision machined, lapped and polished substrates. Our specialty is in making large area substrates. Our current capability is 15"x 15". We are currently expanding our production capacity to make 36"x 36" substrates, which will soon be one of the bigger ,if not the biggest on the market.
CTAL-96 - Through the tape-casting process, we manufacture 96% alumina substrates with excellent as-fired surface finish. The surface of these substrates require minimal to no lapping and polishing, making it very cost effective to our customers.
CTAL-94 - For special applications, we manufacture 94% alumina substrates tailored for specific dielectric applications.
CTAL-92 - This 92% alumina material is suitable for thick film applications. This is offered in different colors: white, dark brown, and black.
